Dr Maciej Parys
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Dr Maciej Parys is a veterinarian, cancer researcher and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in veterinary oncology and molecular diagnostics. As Founder and CEO of CanCan Diagnostics, he leads the company’s scientific strategy, product development and commercial growth, translating cutting-edge genomic research into innovative diagnostic solutions for companion animals.
Renaud Haberkorn
Director
Renaud Haberkorn is a private equity investor with over 30 years of experience. He has held senior leadership roles at Goldman Sachs International, Soros Fund Management, Grove International Partners, and Eurazeo, where he was a Managing Partner for 11 years. He also served as CEO of the Euronext-listed companies Société de la Tour Eiffel and ANF Immobilier.
Olivier Cardon
Director
Olivier Cardon is an investor and Board Director at CanCan Diagnostics, supporting the company’s strategy, governance, commercial development and investor readiness. A Harvard MBA graduate, he brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience across growth, transformation and turnaround situations. He has held CEO and board roles in healthcare, luxury, beauty, hospitality and consumer businesses, working closely with founders, shareholders and management teams.
Peter Schall
Head of Bioinformatics
Peter Schall is a molecular biologist with expertise in cancer biology, genomics and translational research. His scientific background in comparative oncology and molecular diagnostics supports the continued development of innovative genomic technologies for veterinary cancer diagnostics at CanCan Diagnostics.
Helen Ritch
Laboratory Manager
Helen Ritch oversees laboratory operations at CanCan Diagnostics, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency and scientific excellence. With extensive experience in molecular biology, next-generation sequencing and laboratory management, she plays a key role in delivering reliable genomic testing services for veterinary practices.
Marzena Perdoch
Logistics and Administration Assistant
Marzena Perdoch manages the day-to-day operational activities of CanCan Diagnostics, supporting customer service, logistics and international distribution. She works closely with veterinary practices and partners to ensure an efficient testing process and an excellent client experience.
Keyi Tang
Laboratory Scientist
Keyi Tang is a molecular biologist. Her expertise is cancer biology and genomics. She is currently finishing her PhD at the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Dr Maciej Parys, where she searches for novel treatments for oral tumours in companion animals.
Dr Łukasz Szafron
bioinformatics consultant
Dr Łukasz Szafron is a cancer biologist and he works at the Marie Curie National Cancer Institute in Poland. He is an expert in molecular diagnostics and bioinformatic analysis. He is a certified European Clinical Laboratory Geneticist.
Will Hendricks

Will Hendricks is a scientist and biotechnology leader with more than 20 years of experience in precision medicine, cancer genomics and diagnostic innovation. He provides strategic guidance to CanCan Diagnostics, supporting product development, commercial strategy and international growth within the veterinary diagnostics sector.

With a career spanning over three decades, he is recognized for early introduction of personalized therapies European veterinary medicine.
Jeremy Wheeler
